Pallet & Scrap wood Box

I was lucky to pick up a really nice pallet in the summer, with some thick pine boards on it. I milled these down earlier on in the autumn, and they have been sitting on my timber rack in the shop for a while. So this week, I decided to use these to make a box to keep my pen turning equipment in.
With the addition of some scrap mahogany, and a piece of Pine Strip board, I made this simple box, with a removable inlay tray for my Pen Turning tools and hardware. I had no plans for this project, it was made up as I went! I had an idea of what I wanted, but no dimensions or such. As a result, i would have liked the final dimensions to be less taller, and the length to be a bit longer. Overall though, I'm happy with this, especially the lid, which is something new to me, I haven't done that style before.!
