My wife and I were supposed to be on quantum of the seas today for our Alaska cruise. Well we showed up at the airport this morning to catch a flight going to seattle, well the ticket agents at American airlines were too busy goofing around at the ticket counter and wanted to take all of the priority and first class passengers before everybody else who might have had an earlier flight they wouldn't let us use the self check kiosk to check ourselves in because they told us because my wife had a power wheelchair that we had to check it in at the ticket counter so by the time we finally made it up there to check in they were telling everybody well if your flight leaves at 5:30 in the morning to Dallas you've missed your flight. Well that was all on them because our airport in Knoxville Tennessee is so small that they don't open it until 5:00 our flight was scheduled to leave at 5:30. Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I know we were supposed to fly in the day before. I would really love it if somebody out there would put up a YouTube video showing what ports we could fly intolet me rephrase that what cities we can fly into that have an Uber or a Lyft that would be capable of carrying a power wheelchair one that weighs 250 lb to 300 lb and does not fold down that way then I wouldn't be so weary of flying in a day ahead of time and staying a night in a hotel. Because I don't really want to be sleeping in an airport. And not only that but Royal Caribbean Cruise line won't take you from the airport if you didn't fly in that particular day. To the cruise ship the only time that we could have flown from Knoxville today to Seattle we could have gotten there at 9:00 at night quantum of the seas was already at sea. So we would have been had to catch the ship in another port and then we were also informed that we would have to get off the ship in Vancouver British columbia. And have our tickets ready to go so we can fly back home. Wasn't worth the hassle of having to try to catch the ship in another Alaskan City just to get off the ship a day or two later in Victoria British Columbia to fly home
