Just realized sun/moon's mouth doesn't open in the game. Also, the chewing sounds in the end along with the visuals of moon breaking it's mouth open before it is just creepy and spine tingling. I LOVE IT.

This reminds me of a Hello Kitty animation I saw years ago, where she realizes that everyone except her has a mouth. She slowly realizes she can’t speak or eat, and she cuts open her face to give herself a wide smile.

This definitely hammers in that same feeling of slow but terrifying realizations, great work.

It's honestly nice, if not insanely terrifying, to see a side of Moon that I don't think anybody's ever shown before, at least not in this context. While I don't think Moon is evil by default, it's clear that he still is, (probably. Idk how the artist was depicting him here), but he's aware. He's not just an evil bot, he has real feelings and thoughts.

This animation doesn’t creep me out as much as it makes me EXTREMELY SAD. He looks so cheated when he’s watching the tv, promised something he never got. The few seconds we see him just sitting on the floor, surrounded by candies, TV screen bright and shining, and then the frame you see his hat (pov of behind him-) and a picture of him with happy smiling kids while smiling, meanwhile he’s alone in the dark..

The sound design on this is remarkable. The way Moon's face-plate creaks and cracks as he pulls at it, the sound of him chewing on the Moondrops, (both of which made my skin crawl in the good bad way) and the sweet jingle of the ad that absolutely came on at the worst possible time.

You can tell he's been trying to eat the drops for a good while to no avail, given how many scattered around him. Seeing that ad was definitely a breaking point.

Bloody beautiful as always! The fluidity of your animations continues to blow my mind, and if anything I kind of wish the false endings of SB were animated and in your style, I'd take them more seriously then!

I absolutely adore the way you can take a concept as simple as a robot eating candy and twist it completely on its head into something both terrifying and heartbreaking! Your art is truly amazing. ^^

This animation had me utterly floored. Conveying this type of vulnerability and emotional/mental fragility is something I always struggle with in my writing AND my art, and the way you’ve captured it is flawless. The fact he breaks open his mouth just to try and be closer to that cartoon, happy moon is absolutely heartbreaking and somehow made me feel even more like moon/the other animatronics are all, once the violence has been stripped away, just like lost and clueless children. I’ve been considering getting into animation myself for a while now, and one day I wanna be just like you. Also, question; what platform do you use? 😅

This is oddly comforting. The sound effects. Everything. Just perfect. Moons moment of confusion and trying to be something he ain’t is relatable. He wants to fulfill the standard for what the children want. But to do that he would do whatever it takes. Even if it means breaking his own mouth.

The thing that makes this even more horrifying is that moon starts to try and break away at his teeth once he sees that when the moon in the commercial eats the candy he's happy and now surrounded by friends, meaning he did it thinking if he could just eat the candy that he finally wouldn't be alone

i love how in most video's that have moon in it, he seems like he doesnt have a real conscious and only really exists on primal instincts, especially when it comes to things he doesnt understand he uses methods that others wouldnt use (out of self preservation and or to get out of harms way) to get things done
