This is the first time I see such a beautiful animation. How the Moon's eyes are burning when he wants to "punish" someone, it's just a separate art. Just like the Sun is worried and pretending to deceive him. Very beautiful: _D

I just noticed how whenever one talked the other looked like they're deactivated with their eyes closed and head slumped. The amount of detail is amazing!

I LOVE how Sun freezes in the dark, and Moon freezes in the light while the other moves. It's such an amazing detail!

I love how when they talk the lights flicker from on and off. Moon speaks, lights are off. Sun speaks, lights are on.

I absolutely LOVE that their faces and bodies go limp according to the lights being on or off, I didn’t know who these two were and it was such a cool and interesting detail to catch. The animation is amazing, and this is a wonderful AU!

Omg idk if someone pointed this out already, but I love how the other one always shuts off when one of them is talking! Like how Sun shuts off when the lights go off, and Moon shuts off when Sun is talking!

Is it just me, or do I notice, when it’s light and sun is talking, moons eyes are black, then back to normal when it becomes dark, and sun is the one with the black eyes now, and they are able to communicate to each other through shutting down and turning on the lights, that was my favorite part

I swear I get chills every time I watch this. The expressions, the little details like one going “unconscious” while the other is speaking, the song, everything is just amazing! By far my favorite animatic EVER!!

Can I just say that this animatic is extremely clever. The cuts between Sun and Moon's movements with the lighting not only looked cool, it also allows for a bit of corner cutting on the amount of frames needed while still appearing fluid. That and the angles used give off the feeling of a mutual conversation where both sides are present throughout even though they can't be active at the same time. The focus is always on the active talker but Sun's face is deliberately not shown head on during the dark bits except at the start and finish which gives the illusion that he's active for the entirety of their conversation, even though his body language shows otherwise. The little details like that really help keep the pacing consistent with the song and keep the on/off switch between Sun and Moon from being too jarring.

Headcanon: Moon is so ready to yeet children bc Sun unfortunately has to deal with not just the pleasant children but brats who intentionally bully/pick on/throw things at Sun. Which of course ticks off Moon who can't do anything to help until lights are out as Sun would never retaliate seeing as they're such a ray of literal sunshine as per their namesake.

OMG I LOVE THE DETAILS! How sunny shuts off when the lights are off and moon is talking then the opposite for when the lights are on. How they casually gesture or touch each other when talking to the 'off' anamatronic instead of ignoring each. This is so freaking good. AND HOW THE EYES GO BLACK WHEN OFF. It was such a nice detail! Probably my favorite fan made creation ive seen so far. I like how this shows a friendlier dynamic between the two

I like the little touch you did of not having them active at the same time. Whenever Moon was moving, Sun was deactivated and stationary, and vice versa. It shows the duality of the character while having both present

This kinda fits for the daycare attendant. Also I like the small detail how when sun go's "wait now I hear it" he looks sad, as if he realises there's nothing he can do to stop moon now.
