Learning to Trust Allah’s Timing | Khutbah by Dr. Omar Suleiman

اللَّهُمَّ رَضِّنِي بِقَضَائِكَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي قَدَرِكَ حَتَّى لَا أُحِبَّ تَعْجِيلَ شَيْءٍ أَخَّرْتَهُ وَلَا تَأْخِيرَ شَيْءٍ عَجَّلْتَهُ

“O Allah, make me content with Your providence and bless me in Your decree, such that I would not like to hasten what has been delayed, nor delay what has been hastened.”

(O Allah let me be pleased with the decree)
Wa baarik li fee qadarik
(And bless me what is to come)
Hatta la uhibba ta’jeela ma aqart
Wala ta’qeera ma ajjalt
(So that I only love things at their time that happens so that I do not wish for that which has been hasten to be delayed)

Allahumma Raddini bi Khadayek wa barek li fe qadarek hatta la uhibba tajeela ma akharat wala taakheera Ma aajalt

O Allah let me be pleased with the decree, & bless me in the decree that is to come, so that I only love things at their times I do not wish for that which has been delayed to be hastened nor that which is hastened to be delayed.
