May Allah make it easy for me. Ya Allah if the guy in my heart is the one choosen for me, ya Allah then guide him to the straight path, increase his love for me, increase his efforts to marry me and to keep me happy, purify his tongue and his heart, ya Wadood Ya Lateef Ya Kareem don't let him yearn for somebody else, make him fall in love with me more with each passing day, ya Allah make his mother good, give her hidaya, make his whole family good, ya Qadir guide him to never abuse, lie, backbite or slander, ya Rabb bless me with a man who has the best of characters. Ya Allah I feel him to be my Naseeb, pls make my Naseeb good, Ya Allah protect me from the fitnah of a spouse, make my spouse my biggest blesssing, ya Allah I wouldn't be able to endure more pain from him or his family, if he is my Naseeb then Ya Qadir make them all good and loving towards me in such a way that it heals my nervous system and my soul, ya Allah bless me with right love where i can have compatibility as well as chemistry and where i can have enotional safety. Allah knows who we will marry but hasn't chosen for us if he did then Talaq/divorce wouldn't exist? prophet pbuh wouldn't have told us to choose the pious spouse if its already ordained by Allah. you have to interview your spouse and see if your compatible, perform istikhara, ask friend and family.

a counter argument could be maybe your destined to marry several times. the truth is we have free will and we choose who to marry if the parents dont stop you.
