I’m a big fan of BTS (BTS Army) AND an honest plastic surgeon. Many people have accused members of BTS of being addicted to plastic surgery or having a lot of work done. I guess it comes with being Uber talented and the most popular band in the world. I’ll give my balanced analysis without judgement. I’ve had plastic surgery myself and there is absolutely no shame in having it. I hope you enjoy this video and learn some from it! Army please don’t hate on dr Youn. I think it’s great he is making a video about this! I have seen so many army’s comparing themselves to the bts members, but people have to keep in mind that everyone who is in the public eye gets some type of cosmetic treatment or surgery done. This video/analyses let’s people see that it’s okay to not be perfect

The point is: they look natural, and the plastic or cosmetic surgery done, if any, is minimal, refining and accentuating their natural beauty. Other boy groups show more aggressive approach and their nose, lips, jaws look so unnatural, almost doll like. I believe it depends on the company they work for as well. Korean beauty standards are really another level and really demanding, but at least for BTS they managed to meet the standard without altering if just minimally their look. 💜💜

In that picture seokjin doesn't have a botox he talked abt getting botox for medical purposes but he also said he doesn't wqnt to do anything with his and wants to age naturally. Seokjin also got casted by sm when he's in highschool so I bet he's already so handsome since then and also got casted by bh in college. Jungkook also can't believe before that a handsome man like jin exist when they first met.

As a make up artist I wish You did this study on some specific videos like their program " BTS in the soop" when they were bare faced & not wearing make up or anything cuz I definitely think that make up really change some features on their faces especially their noses and their chins and eyes
Cuz in that program "in the soop" u can definitely notice how their noses look little bit different and bigger without make up
& U can see the real shape of their eyes and their chins .
Cuz in these photos that u showed they r wearing so much make up
For example jungkook's nose when he's not wearing make looks much bigger

Plastic surgery is not an insult. If you think it is, you might want to check your own biases you have against it. There is nothing wrong about getting plastic surgery, and you don't know the reasons behind why the BTS members might have gotten plastic surgery. As long as they don't deny it and set unrealistic beauty standards for their many fans, who cares? And if you do care, don't watch the video, please. Your kind is why the fanbase has such a bad reputation.

I watch so much BTS vlogs and behind the scenes since predebut days I doubt they had any major surgeries done before except RM. He even talked about it. Surgeries need time to recover and they were so busy. We also seen how they grew up from year to year. It’s part of aging well because most people age better than before with the skin care. You should also compare pictures without makeup since makeup can make their faces look certain ways especially with the nose and jawline. BigHit was broke back then and they obviously wouldn’t spend money on such thing. In RM’s case, his jawline changes when he gains weight so probably no botox.

I think Jin's jawline is natural. Speaking by my own experience, when I was little I used to have the famous baby cheeks and that also played on my jaw. Now I got thinner, lose my baby cheeks and have a more "mature" face.

I'm just here to recommend again the video "The Long History of 'I'm not ugly, I'm just poor'' by Karolina Zebrowska. She talks about the way we, poor mortals, view some celebrities, and how sometimes refuse to admit they've had work done. She never blames cosmetic procedures, or the celebrities themselves, just this culture of... not acknowledging that normal people can't look Like That without going through some sort of procedure. I'm not talking about the BTS members, btw, I'm just saying it's a good video that makes us think (edit: typo)
