Wooow what a coincidence. In the beginning, a if people called J-Hope ugly. But ummm. Look at him. He’s a natural beauty. He’s the prettiest, cutest, handsomest person I’ve ever seen. Even when he debuted he was so beautiful. People’s standards are REALLY stupid.

i’m not an army but i do know that namjoon got a deviated septum surgery (the way they fix it is commonly referred to as a nose job but they do differ slightly) because of breathing issues. he got hate for it online when IT WAS LITERALLY FOR HIS HEALTH NOT COSMETIC REASONS.

edit: why does it even matter?? surgery is 100% ok and people shouldn’t get hate doing it.

Just so people know jin literally looks the same. He always had an extremely rigid diet at home (his mom was very strict about diet) so he grew up with good skin plus dude has always been a stunner. He got 16 roses on a valentine's day in an all boys school.

tbh theres nothing wrong with idols getting surgery,

When BTS was not well known, people said they were “ugly”. And now they are famous they suddenly get accused of “surgery”. What’s more funny is their looks haven’t changed at all. 😂

It's not that there's a problem with getting plastic surgery. It's just that sometimes these experts are unaware of the changes that these idols may have gone through. Even Felix had to come out to say that he did not get plastic surgery after a plastic surgeon said that he did.

People really be underestimating the power of makeup, styling, and maturation. On top of that, there’s also lighting, angling, digital manipulations, and other ways to make idols look more flawless than they really are. They see skin experts and hair experts, diet and exercise regularly, things many people don’t usually have time and money for. I’m no expert nor plastic surgeon, but I’m on the side of the fence that believes these boys have not had any surgeries. This is based on just being a long-time fan, and observing how they’ve matured over time. In comparing their old pictures, they look pretty much the same aside from their clothes and makeup, which is now more up to date. Their baby pictures also reveal they haven’t had any altered features, some of which carried into adulthood such as Jin’s thick lips, Jimin’s monolids, JK’s cheek scar, and bulbous nose, etc. They also lost weight and some gained more muscle, making some features more sharp or defined. Also…it’s been like 10+ years, and like anyone else, you’re bound to go through natural changes - you’re not gonna look the same as you were 10+ years ago depending on how you care for yourself. If any of these boys did have cosmetic procedures, they’d be pretty minor because none of them had any drastic changes.

***Edit: For those who have poor reading comprehension, my comment doesn't say anywhere that plastic surgery is wrong or that I have a problem with it. I am merely providing alternate reasons for why they could look different, which may or may be valid. I don't mind being wrong, but some of you seem to be. There are also a few of you who seem to think that being a professional at something means you're always right, which is completely false. Real professionals are human beings who can be wrong and they welcome opinions that differ from their own. How do I know this? Because like Dr. Youn, I'm also a healthcare provider who works with patients, and part of my job requires me to educate my patients about their health. I always listen to the opinions of my colleagues and patients so that I can develop safe and effective care plans. FYI, the healthcare professionals who often harm patients are usually the ones who either don't know what they're doing or the ones who think they know it all. Last of all, for those coming onto my post just to hate on me for having an opinion OR add no value to it---you could actually make something of yourself if you put that same energy into living your life well. Don't waste your limited time and life away behaving like a complete fool to gain 2 seconds of attention. Use that energy to create a better world for your children or loved ones. And yes, this is long and some of ya'll didn't even read before making your comment, but thanks for coming to my Ted talk. ;)

I've seen a lot of people accusing specifically J-Hope of being full of plastic surgery before. Like no he's just perfect anyways lol
