I'm currently reading Under the Skin by Michel Faber. I finally got around to watching the movie.. which was interesting to look at but very slow and empty in the end.. and discovered there was a book I had no idea existed. The book is completely different and a lot better. Basically the only thing the two have in common is the name and a female character picking up hitchhikers (I HATE it when they do that.. either film the book or leave it alone). It's a strong sci-fi with a pretty horrific concept and a lot of morality/ethics issues. I plan to check out the authors other works, it was well written, made you think, and an easy read that kept me hooked.

I read Armageddon House.. I was totally into it for the first 3/4 of the book but the ending was such a mess.. I guess people just need to know going in that there is zero explanation.. it just fades into a psychedelic mush and stops. I feel like it had a lot of missed potential.. like this was the first five chapters of something epic we were cheated out of.

You most likely read more horror books than me based on your videos I have seen but two I would suggest is Winter Scream by Chris Curry and In A Dark Dream by Charles L. Grant. That is if you havent read em already.
