"Trouble in Mind" (starring Kris Kristofferson), "Knightriders" (Ed Harris) and Alejandro Jodorosky's "Sante Sangre" are all '80's cult movies that often get overlooked.

If you're ever covering 70's films "Scarecrow" starring Al Pacino & Gene Hackman is another forgotten gem.

I remember seeing Near Dark in theaters, it was wicked on the big screen. You should review Dennis Quaid's, "DREAMSCAPE, " as well for an underated 80's action film.

Florida Straits with the late Fred Ward and Raul Julia. It's about three guys going into Cuba by boat to retrieve a hidden treasure. It's pure '80's.

I'm pretty sure I've seen all these back in the day but sadly couldn't fully appreciate them because I was in my mid teens lol. Maybe I'll give them a look? Great choice for No.1! I've seen that recently & it holds up.

Seen them all (and when they came out). Great list, man. See them all everybody… In the UK Streets of Fire only debuted on VHS. To my knowledge it never had a cinema release…as did a lot if films that were released in US…some never made it over…only surfacing on video.

Great list Trev. I’m old enough to remember watching streets of fire 😂. Loved it back then.
Can’t say I remember the others.
Will definitely look out for miracle mile with ‘Goose’ and near dark as I loved the lost boys in ‘87, actually watched that in the cinema 😂

I loved the Hidden great SiFi action movie nothing like the stripper with the heavy assault weapon priceless, or Near Dark vampire family road trip and all the wacky adventures with the new member great 80s stuff

I think To Live and Die in LA is way underrated

Did you ever see "Time Rider" with Fred Ward and Belinda Bauer. It blends the Old West with time travel on a dirt bike. The movie has a very strong cast too.
