Hello, welcome to another Hands On Engineering tutorial. This lab is part of our Arduino Basics section of the channel. In this lab tutorial, we’ll be going over how to use the OpenLog, which is a great device that can record information onto an SD card. This device will let us incorporate data logging systems into our Arduino that persist even after the device has powered down.

Why not stick in a couple of resistors to lower the voltage instead of using a level shifter?
