i used to have a maslow, i sold it recently due to the fact i live i a residential area and my neighbors were not happy to heard it, also new technologies lean towards laser modules which gives a clean and less noisy result, is this maslow 4 going to give the option to use a laser module also it its needed?

I love the idea ! I just don't like the attempt to make people think this thing is faster than it is. Playback video faster when doing the deeper pass, but then show normal speed, with maybe 1mm left to cut, but film from behind to make it feel like it does it in 1 pass at a reasonable speed. A part from that, it looking good !

???Has some daring person attached a laser instead of the router to the MasLow & gave it a try???
PS: I'm retired/old & don't understand kick-starters but do want to get MasLow4.
???When can I just order one the old-fashioned-way??? ;)

I want a small back pack hobby grade machine to get stuff cut for rc plane making. (With BLDC motor as spindle perhaps).

I will go overseas and such a machine will keep the maker in me alive.
Just rig it up on a table and you can cut balsa or some hardwood. Put two of these on parallel and run a nichrome wire through them and you got a 4 axis hot wire foam cutter.

Controlled from the board on the gondola itself. Just put the sd card in and off you go.

I have a dream!

Well, back to real world now. Eh!
