How do I convert to Christianity?

How do I convert to Christianity? Why should I consider converting to Christianity? What does it mean to convert?

I’m a Muslim wanting to convert to Christianity. After I learnt about Christianity I felt as though my questions about religion were being answered. I felt protected and at peace and felt as though I can form a stronger connection with Jesus. In Islam I felt like it was rules upon rules and following things in a direct and strict order. For that reason I struggled to find myself building a connection with God because I was afraid if I didn’t do this one rule in Islam God will forsake me. I pray that one day I make a decision and pray for all my brothers and sisters who are struggling in this similar situation, to overcome it and be at peace with God.

I was raised Roman Catholic. I went to my first Christian service yesterday. I enjoyed the service quite a lot and compared to a Catholic one, quite a few positive differences. I love how people were worshiping differently and openly. The room was bright and there was no kneeling. They played music and the Pastor's message was received. Many of the people there came to greet me because I was a new face and they even offered me coffee and said I was welcome to drink it during the service. I am in the process of converting. I want to be baptized by being put under the water. All in all there are about to be some changes in my spiritual life.

First/truly repent (change your ways of thinking and doing as u normally have
Second/ truly believe Jesus Christ is the lamb of God who crucified and rose again
Third/ obey his commands pray and stay in daily contact with and listen to bible app when u alone in car.When the holy spirit has taken control it will teach u from there

I was confuse on my religion bc my dad is Muslim ny mom is Christian but doesn't practice and they decided on my birth not to give me shadaha or baptism so i was born without religion and then i tried going to islan stayed for 3 years and now it doesn't feel right for me and I want to go backto Jesus
