I just saw these along with the Amazon one at my Target and was curious about it because I have been using Nest WiFi for two years now and no problem. I love Google so this is definitely my next tech purchase!

I experienced almost identical results. I too came from the Google Hub Wifi and upgraded to the Nest Wifi Pro. I saw my speeds jump from 260-280 to 360-430.

Well I live in a two bedroom moderately sized apartment and I'm currently using a fairly powerful Netgear Nighthawk 4 Band Wi-Fi transmitter with network switch and my internet provider is T-Mobile home internet over 5G I stopped using Comcast about a year ago and do not miss but I do like my new Nighthawk Netgear

I need wireless backhaul, that supports Unii4, because I can only do wireless backhaul. also need more Ethernet ports on the router side. This isn't going to work for me, thinking Orbi or XT9 or XT12. Just a little worried Asus won't support the devices with firmware updates as long as Netgear would.

Did you end up doing a test where you forced it to connect to a router you were sitting right in front of? Your example only covered connecting to a note in the living room VS connecting to the pro which was right on the table in front of you?

Since these devices are generally speaking low powered, im not sure why it doesnt use USB-C as its power adapter. Would make running it troughout the house a bliss. Like POE. I use TP link Deco's (cuz they were cheap :) ) and i converted them all to usb c using a breakout board internally. In my basement i got a big heavy duty USB- C power injector. Having it run at a higher combined load makes the power supply more efficient too saving a buck (yes im european).

The one in your office probably isn't being used because it's just a far for your phone to connect directly and get an as strong signal. I say this because I had almost the same thing. I then moved my office hub to half way between the office and main router hub and now my phone always connects to this middle hub... rather than directly. Thought I'd just let you know what I've seen.

what does the “screen recording from today” mean? why the speed is higher? I also noticed that the jitter is higher… have you checked that?

This is exactly what I've wanted to see. I have the google wifi and I have noticed much slower upload speeds recently - I was wondering if we would just get faster speeds with the new system and it seems to be a yes

I heard this is good for the T-Mobile 5G Home Internet. But I can’t bridge it cuz of limitations on the T-Mobile gateway.

Well somehow although Google boast the 6GHz 802.11ax in their Pixel 7 Pro and Nest Wifi Pro, it is not the default spectrum. My Pixel 7 pro is still using 5Ghz wirelessly connect to Nest Wifi Pro although I use wired backhaul between two units of Nest Wifi Pro. I also tick both checkbox of “Use 160Mhz channel for maximum performance on 5Ghz” and “Use WPA3” although I don’t think it affect the 6GHz spectrum. Hope Google fix this problem in the next firmware update.

Who is your service provider?

I have Spectrum in upstate NY and they only give us 300/ 20 MBps. As an actual Tech that does this for a living while it may work. NEVER IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO REUSE YOUR SAME NAME & PASSWORD GOING FROM ONE SYSTEM TO ANOTHER.

I have non-pro nest wifi running and ready to upgrade to pro (arrived today). So I'll need to turn on new pro wifi, it will ask if I had prior nest wifi. I then hook back up my non-pro wifi to reset it. Then hook back up the pro one to finish?

So… what speed does your ISP say U should get? And does the Nest WiFi Pro boost that when connected?

Does this REPLACE your WiFi or is it more of an extender for you if already have WiFi?
