Thanks for the informative review. I had some frustrations with the installation, phone could not "read" the code, run into errors, and could not find the network, The solution: turn off the modem (unplug it) and also turn off the Nest Pro Router (the one you are connecting to the modem). Give it a couple minutes. Then turn on the modem and wait until it is fully operational (all front lights are on). Only after the modem is fully operational, then turn on the Nest Pro Router. Now you are ready top use the Google Home application. In my experience, this made a huge difference for the installation.

Performance wise: I upgraded from the original Google Mesh (2018). The overall speed of hardwired and Wifi was a little better, the range was slightly better (removed one mesh "puck"), but the stability is excellent.

Do I/Can I connect to my stand alone router? Router is part of theatre room system.

Awesome video, thank you for the information. One question I cannot seem to get answered relates to the WAN and LAN ports. When a ethernet cabled are connected, are there any indicator lights on the ethernet port itself?
