One of the most interesting people ever to walk the earth, the absolute epitome of a "free thinker." His social writings are easy to understand as he was a great "humanist"'. But his great work in physics and can't decipher even one line. He tackled the most profound questions about the nature of space and time and light, and developed working answers. It's just too astonishing. His thoughts on religion (he did not believe in any sort of personal god, and believed in a "Spinozan" god, and death (and he had a contempt for the fear of it), as well as his social perspectives, make for fascinating reading, and it seems that anyone aware of his writings, should do their best to try and make time to read them, because he was an ideal (literally) human being, and had an articulative ability to match his vast intelligence.
