Eu já toquei no ZHT, zildjam pinta muito bem Mais o meinl e muito mais limpo . E escuro no timbre, não enjoa os ouvidos !

The meinl mcs are classy and versatile for a budget cymbal. The zildjian zbt would be great for metal and hard rock, or conceptual work.

this is an unfair comparison, because Meinl MCS is made from B8 while Zildjian ZHT is made from B12.

A fair comparison is:
- Meinl MCS vs ZXT (both made from B8)
- Meinl MB8 / Classsic Custom vs Zildjian ZBT (both made from B8 Brilliant)
- Meinl B12 / SoundCaster / SoundCaster Fusion vs Zildjian ZHT (both B12 based)

Is the Planet Z series the replacement for the ZHT? They sound kind of similar.

the zildjian's look to be somewhat tarnished and dirty so these factors will affect the sound of the cymbals the sustain amount of time is shortened up on the zildjian's if the zildjian's were polished / cleaned up it would be definitely audibly noticeable thier true natural voicings would be heard

Old drum hack. If you want you’re cheaper B8 alloy cymbals To sound warmer and more like Zildjian A’s, this is no joke, Go bury them in your backyard about a foot deep in the ground leave them there for two weeks make sure to water the ground twice a week, then dig them up and you will be amazed at the difference in the sound. They will look tarnished so you might want to wash them but don’t buff them. Don’t believe me? Give just one 16in B8 alloy crash a try first. Any brand will work.
