Stephen Graham bulks up for fighting role at 51 years old

Stephen Graham has surprised everyone by bulking up for a TV show called “a thousand blows” - a Victorian period drama based around the world of illegal boxing from the makers of Peaky Blinders.

Stephen shared a photo on Instagram, and at 51 years old he looks in fantastic condition. This isn’t surprising as he worked with IFBB Pro Rob Thurston to prepare for the role.

Stephen has played a wide range of characters over the years, including some that are very scary and intimidating, so it will be fascinating to see how everything comes together for the show.

Echoing the sentiments of everyone in here about Graham. I always loved him as an actor, but seeing him join Johnny Depp in-character as “Scrumm” while visiting sick kids when the fourth PotC movie came out was wonderful, especially since NOBODY was paying him any attention. He was just there to support Captain Jack and drive home the fantasy for the kiddos, which I can’t imagine many other actors would bother showing up for.
