Had to chuckle when you said "This means HATE SQUIRRELS!!! Not enough that they tear up my potted plants, cut limbs for their nests along with chewing pinecones, leaving me with more work to do, but three days ago they chewed up my custom-made car cover, tore a big chunk out of it and chewed the flannel sheet under it. Have seen them, along with mockingbirds eating my tomatoes---I now pick the fruit earlier as you suggested. Always something. Give Dale an extra hug for being and extra good boy.
