This could be the biggest financial lie in history. And it's something that if true, is likely going to affect our lives more than we can possibly imagine.

For the month of February, we're going to be changing our content a little. Firstly, by only posting one video a week, and secondly, by focusing our videos on major financial news stories. Stories you may have never heard of, but will likely change your life nonetheless.

In today's video, I'm talking about inflation. And how the manipulation of inflation data could be one of the biggest lies sold to the public in history. But at least in the last hundred years.

Please leave your thoughts below.

0:00 - What if we're being lied to?
0:30 - Do you trust your government?
1:34 - The backstory
2:17 - The economic situation today
3:19 - The big financial lie
5:15 - Manipulating real estate data
6:25 - Using old ways of measuring inflation
7:40 - So what can you do to prepare?

I grew up in Germany, I paid attention in History class in a German school. Around the world, every year, students ask their history teacher how it was possible that so many ordinary people could possibly support the evils of the Nazi regime. In german schools, that is, or was, part opf the curriculum. But don't worry, look at the last two years and you'll know how it was possible. The masses are eager to trust the propaganda and obey the authorities, because it absolves them from all responsibility.

Your poll claims that 82% of people don't trust the government, but ask them, how many of them obey their government in spite of knowing the truth behind the propaganda?

I never trust and I never obey, on principle. That was the lesson I learned in History class. If in doubt, distrust. Career Politicians and Goverments do not deserve our benefit of the doubt.

You can 100% rest assured that when the govt and msm is saying that inflation is fine and there's nothing to worry about, that's when you should be prepared.

It is pretty simple: all people (actually all animals) have their own interests as a first priority. When you give more power to a certain group of people, they will use that power to game the system in a way that benefits them the most.

This is the most important channel I’ve stumbled on in a bit! This needs to be shouted from the rooftops. It’s unbelievable how much we take for granted in terms of what the mainstream narrative is.

I was a little kid in the early 70s and I remember how stressed all the adults seemed about the economy. It feels like it's the 70s again. Ended a shitty war that no one wanted, weak president, inflation exploding, world felt unstable. Fuel issues.

Growing up my mom always told me the following rules on forming an opinion:
- Validate your hypothesis against 3 different independent sources
- If your hypothesis is opposed by emotionally driven arguments you're going the right direction
- Never trust what people say but instead trust the consistency in which they behave.
- If your provided and backed information isn't being taken even after showing proof quit debating and go ahead yourself.

So trusting any government to execute policy which benefits the average person is completely irrational, but taking their words at face value is borderline manic.

I was a kid here in Brazil when we had hyperinflation. It is nuts! I remember that in 1990 we had a month with 82% inflation! Insane. Prices change everyday, and it was impossible to plan anything.

Props to you Sorelle. I’m really surprised how YouTube still allows your channel to exist. The truth doesn’t hold much weight to those in control.

Anyone who shops for groceries ought to already know that their inflation numbers are completely false. This was great work. Buckle up...

Whilst I agree that Gold is a store of wealth and owning it is one of the best protections against an economic catastrophe, you must ensure it is allocated gold. Most gold "vault" services do not allocate the gold to you and therefore in a crash you would be given the equivalent value in the now defunct currency. Others would just sieze it like the US did in the last major recession. Keep it readily to hand as its worthless if you cant access it when needed!

Thank God for an honest appraisal of the falsified inflation numbers. I am a former financial institution examiner with a subject matter area of capital markets now employed as financial analyst for the same federal agency. Her statements are verifiable and accurate.

At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

If anyone with even a minor interest in global economics hasn’t realised we are entering very dark times, they are blind deaf and dumb.

I'm Portuguese and I know for a fact that our government and the people that run for office only have their own personal interests in mind, but what baffles me is the amount of people that still believe their lies and even worst... The ones that don't, but refuse to vote them out of office and never participate in general or local elections.

I’m seriously blown away that those 18% actually trust their governments. That’s amazing.

I personally believe its all being done intentionally due to the fact that during the 2008 financial crisis banks made a ton of money through foreclosures while the working class lost everything they had.

According to the owner of the company I work for, this single quarter has been more profitable than the last 6 combined, all thanks to "inflation." Which is to say, he heard there was inflation and jacked our prices by 25%, then blamed inflation. I have to assume this is not uncommon.
