I really relate to your content and am glad to see you back! I consider my house to be low income because my partner lives with me and has been unable to work consistently for over 2 years now. The number of times I've said "we can't go out to eat this week" can feel really disheartening, but we still eat good meals at home or with friends when they invite us over. After 6 years of sharing a car, I just bought my own car, and I am so nervous to see how it affects our monthly budget. I can't wait to see more of you and the cats!

🚙 car advice. Spend a little extra on a maker that historically lasts longer and doesn’t require too much maintenance. I love my Subaru 5 years in!

I get paid weekly and I put back 25 a week for Christmas. I too enjoy being able to get my husband and boys gifts that they really would like. They are really the only ones I have to shop for. We stopped buying for both sides of our family years ago-it just got to be too expensive. If I don't stuff any other envelope I make sure to stuff that one. I quit stuffing in November but I am back to stuffing this week.

Happy New Year, and welcome back. Consistency is key. It's hard you can do it. Keep paying off debt sooner. It'll be worth it in the long run! You got this! 👍🚗

Great video! I do the same thing with avoiding putting my budget on paper when I am anxious about my finances so I totally understand. 🚘

I personally roll my gas extra each week to my car maintenance fund to help buff it up

I've missed you and the kitty cats. BTW Prime is cheaper to buy annually.

Good video. I don’t see your credit card minimum listed under your debt minimums. That may throw your numbers off. Good luck on your debt free journey.

Hi, good video . I worry you’re cutting yourself short on your envelopes though . Make sure you take care of you first, then tackle everything else.

So glad to see you back, Ive missed you and wondered what happened to you! I thought maybe you ran away and got married to a rich guy or something. lmao You do realize that you are only going to end up saving $4100 for your Europe trip, by only saving $80/ppp in 2 years, right? And girl! $5 for car maintenance? $5 x 26 paydays is only $130. That wont even cover all of your oil changes and two sets of new windshield wipers, let alone paying for other maintenance like brakes, flush & fill of your fluids, muffler replacement, yearly registration/tags, a new battery or if you should actually need a repair or a new tire(s) etc. When you came up with the amounts you are putting into your sinking funds and envelopes, did you calculate how much you will NEED in total and divide it by how many paychecks you will have in between now and when you need to pay for a certain thing? And where is your emergency fund sinking fund? Did you pay off all of your other debt including all your credit cards that we saw? I totally understand that you feel you "deserve" and want to prioritize certain things that arent needs, but you have to be realistic and KNOW that those NEEDS HAVE to come first. Just because you say you deserve something doesnt stop the fact that shit is going to happen and you have to be prepared for it. 💜

I don't really think $55 biweekly is enough money for food. That's like setting yourself up for disaster. Please rethink that.

The hand movements on all of the envelope stuffing and budgeting videos are ridiculous. Ditch ALL subscriptions and put that 50.97 to pay off your debt. Sitting on your rear like a blob watching TV is a waste of time and money. Ditch pet insurance - it will just increase - and put same amount in a HYS account. Put oxygen mask on yourself first - you have student loan debt with interest and put money toward gifts, travel, and subscriptions? You need more discipline.
