Nationals Senator Matt Canavan claims US President Donald Trump’s decision to pull the United States out of the Paris Agreement is “absolutely massive”.

“Now that the US, the world’s biggest economy, has got out of this madness there is just no rationale anymore for us to stay involved,” Mr Canavan said.

“It’s clearly not going to do anything to the environment, our mere one per cent of emissions is not going to outweigh the over 50 per cent of emissions of China, India and the United States."
