Since putin doesn't want peacekeepers in Ukraine, Europe needs to send troops to Ukraine as part of a "special training operation".

Europe should send it's troops into the western part of Ukraine to free up Ukrainian troops to fight in the east. The European troops could take on security and logistics roles in the western part of Ukraine thus staying out of the fight.

Portugal here. I wonder what would happen if a country were to attack the U.S, as they did on 9/11. Would Nato come to help the SECOND Time? I would not. I spend over a year in Afghanistan under the Portuguese Flag, for the United States. Today I would refuse to do so.

In a bank robbery, bank employees typically do not ask the robbers if they agree to the police being alerted. If they were asked, the robbers would obviously not agree. Putin has launched a criminal war of aggression and is, in this analogy, the robber in question. Therefore, it should be completely irrelevant whether Putin agrees—of course, he does not.

Ukraine should NOT have to give up ANY of their territory to Russia. If that happens it will only entice Russia to continue with other countries. Make a DMZ zone if needed, but make it at the BORDER between Russia and Ukraine and be shared with EQUAL gaps of either side of the border so neither country lose more territory than the other to the DMZ.

I do not like the DMZ line is drawn allowing russia to keep the area that is Ukrainiane, a cease fire should happen with russia going back on its own country.
