Husky 1/4 in. x 15 ft. Drain Auger Demonstration

Had a badly clogged drain most likely caused by hard water mineral desposits. I've used a number of bottles of drain-o with no luck. So I bought this Husky drain auger from Home Depot and got it cleaned out pretty quick. Since I couldn't find any demo video's, I decided to make my own to help someone who has never used one of these before.

You secure it by sliding it through the handle to tighten it down??? Never would've guessed that in a million years. Thanks bro! Husky owes you some money for helping everybody out.

Thank you so much for this video! It saved me at 1:00 a.m.! The fact that Husky included no instructions with this tool is the height of corporate obliviousness to its customers! The viewer comments about this video include additional valuable information, especially about sliding the handle down the snake so that it is close to the drain before you crank it. I found that it is important to FREQUENTLY remove the snake and clean the debris from its tip.

depending how deep the clog is, the handle can go anywhere on the chain.

Bro I can not thank u enough for this video u have no idea what I've been through these past few days. I have a toilet in my laboratory and the shitter got clogged with God knows what but I tried everything from using dish soap to a wire hanger to pouring bleach down the toilet. so today I bought this auger for 1 cuz it was $10 and 2 I figured looks easy enough till I got home with it. after a second look i was like why the kids bike handle bars and nothing else.. so I Google searched and there... there was ur tutorial how to vid. thank you now I gotta mop and clean my lab and whole room but still
