Anyone who is hating in this game needs to understand that you too were once a kid playing these 3D platformers, I am 16 and I will definately get this as I haven't played one of these games in a long time :)

Got a chance to play this on the weekend, looks great and plays fun. It's surprisingly a little challenging and brings back the old school Crash Bandicoot type fun. It's now on my radar.

After all those fancy CGI Knack trailers, this gameplay video is what actually sold it!
Looks like Sony has a Spyro / Crash replacement this upcoming generation which is great news for gamers!
It seems as if all those complaining about the game don't know gaming and think they all have to look real and have excessive amounts of violence. Also, there is so much more to hardware than making games look realistic, and this game certainly utilizes more hardware power than current gen consoles offer.

Those animations are really good. Honestly next gen is a big step in character animation. cant wait to play it.

This game looks EPIC...I Haven't played a game in this style in a long time...it's a welcoming sight. Knack will definitely have a spot in my gaming library. I like how Knack collects items to get larger and stronger, but if Knack receive too much damage you start losing size and strength...GREAT concept.

This was a game that Mark Cerny worked on while building the PS4. It's a side project. Just to keep him fresh and also to explore the hardware. He's even referred to it as a "smaller" game. This isn't intended to be a AAA title. It's just something family friendly and fun to play. There's really no reason to hate on it.

To the folks who believe a game that doesn't look real shouldn't be on next-gen, you don't decide that. There is a difference between games that use artstyle over graphics. Knack looks kiddy, well so does Kingdom Hearts 3, but no one complains about KH3 looking like a "ps3 game" b/c of it's popularity

No. If you want a game that is like a book in the sense that it tells a great story, play an RPG. Video Games in essence are NOT about that. Also, graphics really don't matter. Art design and art direction are much more important than graphics are.

Is knack a next gen game. Yes. Once you see the cut scenes and the hours of animation that went into this it will look stunning and prove its worth it. How can you judge a game based on someone holding a camera to the screen.

idk why the xone fanboys are saying crap about this game? or did they forget that almost all the games that were released for kinect was younger based? Especially kinect sports rivals. Its a PS exclusive for parents who want to buy a console for their kids without having to worry about provacative content. I'm picking this game up because it looks like a good adventure story. not the same shooter games that keeps coming out
