Google Glass intrigues me and horrifies me.

Brings us one step closer to that cool Borg look. But I don't want to be in the sauna at the gym & have some GlassHole walk in.

I remember how irritating it felt in 1990 when some self-important person with a Motorola Brick would decide to call someone while waiting in line at the grocery. The GlassHole onslaught: 50x as intrusive.

I want a pair of Glasses because I'm a tech/gadget fan. Will I buy? Probably not: I don't want to be "that GlassHole".

i think you've asked a very important question, which related to psychology.
some people feel they have lack in reputation, therefore they think if they do extraordinary things, they'll win more appreciation. And Glass is a huge step forward for them.

sort of, the only version released as of this moment is the develepers model, which cost about $1500. But they are planning on releasing the consumer version around 2014 for around $200-$300.

A big attraction to glass that people are talking about is the video recording, and they say they want to take videos of themselves on dirt bikes or on a roller coaster. What if these things fall off? It is too expensive to take it anywhere to get an impressive video usually.

battery life wont be a problem in about two years because scientists already created an accumulator which lasts about 30 times longer and can recharge about 1000 times faster, they did it by arranging the anode and the cathode in a 3D micostructure and the scientists hope that it will be ready to use in 1 to 2 years
