I wanted to share with you all something CRAZY I just learned!!!
did you know that purple heart wood turns dark purple when heated up?
I turned a pen today from this stunning hardwood, and just by mistake stumbled upon a clip showing this trick! I ran to the factory nearby and asked a friend who works there to borrow their heat gun... WOW!!!! it came out stunning!!!
This is SO CRAZY!!!
Of course, the clip is sped up so not to waste your precious time, just keep in mind that in "real time" it took 3 minutes…. WORTH IT!!!
