Palisades Fire: Video shows damage of California fires

The fire has burned more than 17,000 acres and remains 0% contained.

California fires are wreaking havoc on Los Angeles as crews battle several massive blazes, including the Sunset Fire, Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, Lidia Fire, Hurst Fire and Woodley Fire. Areas impacted include the Hollywood Hills, Pacific Palisades, Altadena, Pasadena, Sylmar, Acton and parts of Ventura County.

Hopefully the Palisades city will enforce STRICT building codes to replicate the gorgeous architecture that existed in downtown Pacific Palisades when they rebuild. Hopefully they won’t just throw up ugly buildings in haste.

I was born and raised in the PP grew up in the 50's-80's this tugs on my heart strings so so sad went to Marquez and Pali lived on Sunset Blvd in 5 different apartments between Baylor and Wildomar.

Good question. Screw the bank's cash in the safe, how are the safe-deposit boxes? Did they have time to move them? Are they safe from this kind of fire? Are they still sitting there unguarded? People's family possessions are in there.
