The NHS is too important to allow it to be trashed the way it is

We shouldn't be fighting to save the should be fighting to give the NHS to the rest of the world!

If anyone says that strikes puts lives at risk, they should look at the thousands who die in the US where healthcare is a for profit industry.

As a person in the US, cling to your NHS! You *don’t* want the private non-health, non-care system we have in the US!

I wholeheartedly agree that we MUST save the NHS and make it better than it was pre-Thatcher! Had the NHS been fully privatised last year, my Dad wouldn’t have gotten his heart operation, nor would my Mom have gotten her knee operation. The NHS were there for me in the 2000s when my brother broke my arm and when 2 of my toes broke each in an accident! Privateers on the other hand are a SCAM! From November 2018-March 2019, my parents took me for some therapy with the Priory Group, each session cost £97 (roughly) and the therapy itself was almost completely useless! My dentist charges me £70 per checkup but when one of my teeth broke earlier this year, I had to wait almost a week for the dentist to sort it out! Healthcare is something you MORALLY CANNOT put a price on! The amount US residents are each charged for their healthcare is INEXCUSABLE! NO ONE should be allowed the power to send large chunks of the population into bankruptcy! The Tories keep upping their game more and more, they MUST be removed from power! I want my niece to grow up in a Britain where she won’t have to worry about her parents going broke, her school doesn’t make her feel like a slave and she knows happiness beyond what I could imagine as a pre-teen!

We should be fighting to save all public services being privatised! Remember Privatised (high costs and low invested services) is all about £1 = 1 vote as to Public ownership (low costs high invested services) and is about 1 person = 1 vote!

The first man interviewed should run for office and take down the sleaze.
I'd vote for him

When I went through cancer treatment it was so comforting knowing I was getting the best treatment for me & I didn’t have to worry about it’s cost rather than the most profitable one for the medics that I might have to sell my house to pay for.

Cos my American friends will tell you, in a country that doesn't have the NHS they either spend their entire lives in $100, 000's in debt due to healthcare costs or they're forced to live their lives in pain & misery & never seek any healthcare for anything. That's their only two choices in a country that has no choice.

It's about peace of mind, that an injury or illness isn't going to bankrupt us and/or put immense strain on finances.
Those who're "well off" and wealthy won't have such a concern regardless of public or private financing of healthcare, so it doesn't occur them how much difference it makes to people's lives, whether it's once every few years (for most of us) or every single day for those with chronic diseases.
It's also about saving businesses a lot of money, as they don't have the burden of sorting an employer healthcare policy, of dealing with sick/injured staff who can't afford treatment for illness/injury. A healthy workforce is a far more productive and efficient workforce than a stressed and incapacitated one.

Health, education and infrastructure are investments, not to be run for profit!

Be careful of you could end up with a medical system like the USA. This is not a good thing! (US citizen here)

the nhs matters because the alternative is considerably worse, considerably more expensive and considerably more inaccessible. that's about it really.

they put life at risk, but they dont do it with malice as politicians, they do it in the hope that they can safe more lives later, because they have a little bit more in their pockets, not only some politicans applaud their job wich in itself is disgusting that they have the nerve to do.
