Detective Green was NOT "forced to resign", he decided to resign on his own after realising he was burnt out being a cop.

I personally loved Detective Ed Green. He was a stand up guy, good man of integrity but was flawed, as all humans are. There weren't that many detectives over the years on this show that I really rooted for. Greevey, Cereta, Logan, Briscoe, and Green were the very best.

Shame this was Jesse L. Martin's last L&O episode, but I guess after 9 years on the show & 4 years after the death of Jerry Orbach, Martin decided it was time to leave his Ed Green character & pursue other projects

When Ed left, that’s when the original Law & Order fell apart for me. I felt like he was the last link to the show’s glory days.

It's amazing how iconic Ed Green and his partnership with Briscoe was to this show yet he came in season 10 lol how many shows have a character come that late into a series' run yet become as identified with it and as beloved as the original long lasting cast? Jesse L. Martin is the man!

This was one of Anthony Anderson's first serious roles. I was pleasantly surprised by how he performed. Not as great as Jesse Martin when he took his role, but I grew to like him very quickly.

What happens to Detective Ed Green in this episode is proof that the past can catch up to anybody... even good people. I was sad to see Green go but in the end he did what he had to do for the sake of his mental health. Being a cop and especially a detective is highly stressful and something I admittedly would not have the stomach for.

Ed & Lenny were my favorite duo of detectives

It's good how they gave you closure on his character, it is annoying when one detective leaves and another one just pops up out of nowhere without any exsplaination, we deserve better,

Briscoe & Green was my favorite detective duo in OG Law and Order.

And after resigning, he would move to Central City where his life would get a LOT weirder.

Goodbye Green. Hoping to see a return in the revival.

The two idiots at the beginning remind me of Moe and Larry from the Three Stooges 😂

4:02 : what immediately caught my eye was Detective Green's reaction to the details given about what the suspect looked like. Moments later, Green shoots the same suspect.

After shameless episode in the episode where Van Buren talks to Curtis I really cared up when they were talking about Briscoe. Rey mentions that he and Lennie talked all of the time until the day Lennie passed away. To Lennie Briscoe One Of The Best Cops The 2-7 Ever Had.

Detective Green was NOT "forced to resign", he transferred to Central City and became the father-in-law to the Flash, lol

Jesse Martin has always been great in every role that he's taken. When he is in something, I make it a point to watch it.

Weird how in tv shows IAB is always putting the screws to good cops but rarely shown going after the bad ones.
