Real question: did anyone else think Gardevoir was at least part Grass upon first contact? Back in the early days of RSE, I thought the Ralts line were all part Grass at least because their color scheme reminded me of a green onion stalk. I never found Ralts myself until years later so my initial assumptions were based entirely on those brief encounters with Wally.

I genuinely love Gardevoir so much, it’s so elegant and beautiful. And it feels like an actual person, which is something i like (not in that sense) because i don’t perceive it as an animal or something inhuman.

I really wish this show could tell us what the inspiration was for gardevoir, I can't tell if its a sort of noble mage, dancer, or like 8 year old me a ghost squid, unless of course thats the point. Before anyone quotes bulbapedia, be aware it uses unsourced info 99% of the time so its basically fan fic.

I wish Gardevoir would get a signature move in the main games that incorporates it's black hole. Pokken Tournament did this wonderfully.
