So glad you are back - Don't let BS take over the game - Megan, coming from a coach, please just give 100% while you are on the field and just play the game and leave all the rest behind. I didn't care much for you and never saw you play until TUBI started playing all the old World cup games from 2016 and 19. The team could use your leadership and focus on the game, not the rest. You can get back to that when you're playing days are over. When I was watching Mia H days I was also taking my Advanced National Course and what I loved about those teams were when one scored, they all came charging together to celebrate. I wanted to be an assistant coach on that team. Now, more and more, after scoring you run away from your team and make them catch you. (Not just you) I hope you do win, you are a much better player than I was guessing before watching. Good luck, GO USA. I'm afraid if you don't show by example giving 100% and don't go whining over calls and looking like the player that should retire, you will lead the team to a defeat. Don't let it happen. There are some new and exciting players on your team that can take a Messi run at defenders directly to goal, get them the ball.

The only player who looks like July Ertz right now is Lena Oberdof from Germany. Their game and strength are similar. Obviously July is more experienced and stronger

You gotta love Julie, there is no other way... She does everything right. (Also the competitive side of her always coming through! 😆)

My favorite player. I'm so happy I'll get to see her play again, then I'll have to watch her play golf. We all know she'll do well in that sport.
IMO, Julie is the most dominant midfielder/defender ever. She's a great one that all younger players should emulate. A genuine class act (except for that humiliating "horse collar" penalty against Christin Popp... God that was a terrible decision. She should have been immediately red carded).
