I have a 2010 Fusion SE. I purchased two front shock assemblies and the back two struts from TRQ as a package for under $250! it took me less than two hours to do the front. Now on to the back two tomorrow!

Great video, took me a while but finally got it done. You definitely need some low profile 14 & 15mm ratcheting wrenches to get this done.

Man you know red thread locker is designed to be permanent right? Use blue or orange

You DON'T need to remove the control arms or any of that. Go watch the video from Fix It Angel. Its a MUCH simpler fix than this. Dont make yourself work harder than you need to

I would like to add that if you reuse the upper control arms the notch on the top of it tells you which way to put them back in.

I'm just gonna let the auto shop install it for me and do an alignment afterwards. I probably would do it if I had time for it but not at the moment.

This video makes it look easy, but I just cannot get to the upper bolt on the control arm, nothing I have tried will get me in there, why does this video make it look so damn easy. I wish I had a lift, I think that would be a little better than the driveway and jack stands...I have to wobble type sockets and it just seems no matter where I go something in my way....

Looks easy. Sure it is a FWD. My 12 awd is very hard, especially the inner most shock bolt has very less access. No fun at all

I feel like I can do this but it's gonna take all day 41 side but thank you for the video

The upper arm doesn't need to be removed to get the bracket out
