This video shows you how to install a rear shock on your 2009-2014 Honda Fit. Shock absorbers help your vehicle stay stable and safe. Signs of worn out shocks are knocking or bumping noises, loose handling, or a bouncy or bumpy ride. The typical service life of a shock absorber is 50,000 miles, depending on conditions. TRQ shocks and struts are engineered to fit your vehicle perfectly.

This repair was done on a 2010 Honda Fit Sport 1.5L Hatchback 4-Door FWD Manual and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2009 Honda Fit
2010 Honda Fit
2011 Honda Fit
2012 Honda Fit
2013 Honda Fit
2014 Honda Fit

Thanks for the video. The process is shockingly easily (pun intended).

I attempted to install new rear shocks on my daughter's 2015 Honda Fit just this morning and I could not remove the two lower bolts. I used penetrating oil, a breaker bar, a mallet, and an impact wrench. They would not budge and I was afraid I was going to snap them in two. (02/18/23)

Make sure you tighten the bolts and nuts down once the suspension is under load

Fuck the torq wrench. Im gun run it down with my Milwakee stubby on power setting number 2 and let off the gas when shes tight. It will be very close to 20 ft lbs. Same for the bottom but she will be on power 3 and nice and tight about 50-60 ft lbs. I like to go by feel unless im doing a cylinder head. Then i will break out my torq wrench.

Can you make a video about the Window control panel? And how to fix when a window falls off the motor? (If that makes sense?)

What happens if the bushing was put upside down ?? Will it mess up the shock ?
