A Few More Tips:

- Use your own words (marks will be deducted for copying and rewriting)
- No title required.
- Write within 120 words maximum but at least 100 words or else you will be compromising content.
- If the question asks for 1 point of information then write only 1 paragraph. If it asks for 2 points of information then write in 2 paragraphs.
- Only include information that answers the question.
- Even if the passage is written in a conversational/informal style you will only use the formal register to write.
- Even if the passage is in the first person you will write in the third person. (active voice - passive voice)
- Condense sentences using connectives. (especially, however, furthermore, etc.)

Hi :)
I'm a grade 11 student and will be doing my igcse FLE in may june 2020. I had a couple of questions as you seem very knowledgable in this subject.
Does summary writing have to be in a order of you own or is it supposed to be from top to bottom I'm not much clear about that I think i heard my teacher say it must be in the order of the text.
And is highlighters or colour pens allowed in the igcse exam since I've seen many people use highlighters or colour pens for ! better responcse to questions?
I'm very weak vocabulary, can you please recommend me books that could help me for my vocabulary for my exam?

My teacher never tells me what is wrong with my writing... He always says its good but you can do better... And when I ask him what I have to improve he said "it's good but try to improvise it next time".... But when the paper comes I get an A, I never get A*...
