Ok, so they removed the weeds 1 meter around the tree, put rocks and rice hull to prevent weeds from growing within 1 meter radius. Water the tree. It's either with plain water or with cholinsy (MSG+Fish Sauce). Here in the Philippines I used either common rock salt + Ammonium Sulfate / common rock salt + Muriate of Potash to get bigger and more fruits. I also apply cold pressed neem oil weekly and put naphthalene (moth) balls every 6 months to drive beetles away. Happy Farming!

this is utter foolishness.A big coconut tree will not absorb fertilisers with in the circumference of around one meter from its trunk

Ok so like heres the Thing. I live in the province or state of idaho america, We dont have the right climate.Obviously that dont stop me. We get colder weather more often. Will it reduce the growth rate? We still get about 97 degrees f june to august and the mmid 80s in the surrounding months..
