I'm still running the 6700k clocked at 4.7ghz since 2015 without any issues, water cooling or fancy cooling systems. It's served me loyally for 5 years.

Im still rocking this cpu in my main build in 2021 and doing perfectly fine. I dont care about new cpus who are like 2 seconds faster, ill stick with this one a couple of more years

My 6700k and GTX 1080ti is such a nice pair together. I still don't have to worry about not being able to run games even 5 years later.

Overclocking is like medicine being announced on TV. Its good for your health but then they give you a full list of all the bad stuff that can happen to you.

I'm still blazing through everything with my i7 6700k @ 4.2Ghz Turbo. Same 16GB DDR4 Ram. Only just recently upgraded my GPU to a RTX 2060 Super from a GTX 1060 6G. (Which is still an amazing card, BTW)

Just went through Modern Warfare last weekend with every possible setting ultra, 1080p/60fps, DX12/RT, etc. and it didn't stutter once. Turned turbo off the CPU and the same.

I don't feel I wasted a penny. I'm also going to be happy with this and not full on get into 1440p gaming (Which I can do usually above 60fps) until I can upgrade my MB/CPU next year.

I know AMD is making moves, but I'm going to rock with Intel again next year for my Upgrade. The rock solid performance sells it for me every time.

Still relevant for me in 2022! thanks Linus 🙂

The set up is perfect, guys. The picture has a gritty crunch to it with a bump in the shadows to retain the details. The background also fits that theme. Everyone in the comments knows nothing about cinematography. All they like to do is reminisce and complain. Keep experimenting and have fun. You're doing great.

So does LinusTechTips create these graphics intros or are they prepared by Intel?

BEST OVERCLOCKING MOMENT EVER! I was watching this video to confirm what program to use to stress test my system after overclocking it. It just got to the part where Linus described the effects of instability and the stuttering. My system Blue Screened and started making the noises he described perfectly on queue. It was EPIC.
