FYI you can add a very thin layer of silicone in a scratched mould, it will erase the scratches and leave you with a perfect mould again. This works for store bought or home made moulds. Happy Christmas.

It came out so pretty. I have been making mold since I was younger. I used to do body parts and I would do it for nails too. I started to get different things for I can make molds again but I have been buying so many molds now. I used to fix my molds by making more molds on them just don't put so much on them. Those are sweet little ornaments. I did some research on mold making a few months ago and I remember that some silicone rubbers mfg. recommend not using wooden stir sticks with there products. I looked at so many different platinum silicone mfg. that I don’t remember which ones but, just a heads up I you try a different brand. If I remember correctly it has something to do with sulfur. Robert Tolone has a great mold making channel on Utube, he always cuts up his rejects and inserts them around the outer edges of his next mold to save on product. Great tutorial! Thanks!
