Michael Burry - Dollar is not Strong & Inflation Likely to Accelerate

Michael Burry recently returned to Twitter to warn of the dollar's weakness relative to commodities and how this points to higher CPI inflation ahead. This is concerning, since nearly every other fiat currency is undergoing hyperinflation, under which circumstances the dollar typically rallies and inflation in the United States declines.

Silver guns gardens and no debt, I wonder how many new neighbors I will get this time, lost all but one in our immediate neighborhood in 2008/9, nothing has been fixed since the dotcom crash everything was papered over to make it look ok and it's not, IMO we are headed for an inflationary/deflationary depression

Low economic growth = low rates and large economic growth is correlated with higher rates

The Misesian CrackUp Boom….You do not want to be short anything as the USD inflates away (relative to USD that is….stocks in countries that have had severe inflations do NOT go down…). Will be interesting to see if the US Federal Reserve is truly willing to sacrifice not just the Federal Government (please do us the favor - would love to see states start leaving) but financial markets (especially US equities) as well….

It would seem that the Fed needs the dollar more than it needs the US Government to remain solvent. I see no reason to believe they're lying about raising rates, and it's a bit puzzling how that sort of denial cope is being thrown around so much. Normalcy bias?
