The legendary Riddim Twins played on an estimated 200, 000+ tracks as well as producing many more. Truly incredible. I was blessed to see them live with Black Uhuru in the 1980s and on the Taxi Gang tour of Europe, and they were amazing. Bless up!

Sly and Robbie had two songs featured in 3 different episodes of Miami Vice back in the 80's. Killer dub tracks!

Sly and Robbie the greatest! It is good that Carlton Barrett and Family Man Barrett get their credit in this fine video, and let's also recognize Style Scott and Flabba Holt (Roots Radics) and Santa Davis and Fully Fullwood (Soul Syndicate).

Had the pleasure of going into a second hand shop and finding an old cassette of Sly and Robbie's, a truly wonderful ensemble of beautiful sounds. May he rest in peace until the good Lord Yeshua resurrects him, and all the sorely missed pioneers of an amazing battle against the Devil's system. Stand firm in the Power of theMost High God Jahoviah.

I totally agree 100% with this video clip? These two artists are the Best of the Sly & Robbie have so, so, many tracks and they are on thousands of albums. I've seen these two live in Seattle? It was my best reggae show so far was Sly and Robbie and then Groundation had me feeling in ways never before felt. Respect.

Greatly appreciate this Society, Jah Bless.
I had the incredible experience of Taxi gang gig Manchester 1987(?)
Sly and Robbie played devastating rhythm from start to finish not pausing as Eek a mouse, Yellowman etc came on.
We were sliding down the wall by the end🥵
They also imo did great work withGrace Jones foe the scoundrel Chis Blackwell😅

Amazing to think that when i was 10 years old i never really paid much attention to reggae (mainly because me dad hated it)..
But I'd loved Hip Hop since the late seventies and especially as a young adult living in the 1980s.
I first heard Boops To Go on a radio station that Mike Allen was hosting.
I was probably about 13 then.

I loved the track and wasnt even aware this was reggae.
But now I am 50 and for the last 30 years I've thrived on Sly And Robbies earlier 1970s sound!
The Aggrovators are still my favourite sound.
But I will be checking out The Mighty Diamonds too!
Just proves that school lessons are always with you in life, learning a musical sound comprehension and admiration.
Nice 1 R.A.S 1 ❤

They drove black uhuru for a few years, changed Dylan's approach in the studio. Its what they didn't play that left room for the artists to be themselves, it sometimes sounds effortless
