every caseoh rlcraft episode: case wants to go find a home, he finds a home (another sky castle), he lives in it for 5 minutes then decides he wants to find another home, he goes out, dies, dies again, dies more, gets his stuff, finds another home, hates it, goes out, dies, dies again, finds a sky castle home, hates it, dies while going out to look for another home, spawn point gets relocated, rage quits. notice how theres no attempt to progress in the game because you cant sit still?

When he slept on the bed in the ship, it glitched him through the floorboards when he woke up. And there wasn’t flat space level with the bed for him to spawn either since it was raised up. So it obstructs his spawn since the game figured there wasn’t enough space to respawn there. I could feel that coming and was hoping it wouldn’t happen.

Case, the pirate haven you found is a somewhat common generation so you could make a base there again. Much of your stuff can be replaced fairly quickly at a village. Honestly it’s not a huge loss of material until you’ve enchanted gear, weapons, or had upgraded baubles.

The L menu has upgrades to let you take less damage and deal more damage.

If you don't start STASHING your items in chests you will literally never progress because you will just endlessly lose your valuable items on death over and over.
The only thing you should ever bring when going outside of you base is a cheap weapon and shield and maybe 2-3 food and water items. You need to start preparing to DIE not preparing to survive. You also make this even harder on yourself by never settling down. Just decide on a base and stop wandering around endlessly, you're making zero progress. You can always move later when you can actually survive some. This is what we mean by "you're going too fast", you're trying to find "the perfect home", this is an end goal not a starting goal. Progress FIRST.
Unless you enable keepInventory, your playstyle will never get you anywhere.
