Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention, but the dynamic clothing simulation feature still works great with all the Dynamesh, zRemesh, and polish features - It's essentially just an easy way to quickly get any geometry to behave like clothing around the SubTool underneath it - Hope that clears things up :)

The amount of detail your humanoid models have gained just from putting in the time and effort to add zbrush to your skill list mixed with your pre-existing high level knowledge of blender is literally insane. and now that you are making these, i'm greatly reconsidering picking zbrush up again to complete specific tasks

I want to say a huge THANK YOU!! for putting this series together. I tried to make the switch from Blender when it came out but just wasn't flowing for me but I came back at it & finally getting comfortable & absolutely loving the workflow now!

Can I ask how you made the base shape of the cloak? Was it a plane you used physics on and then shaped? Thanks very much for the frequent, useful tutorials!

I tried playing with this but I found it much easier to just make it manually with the standard brush.

Also got any idea how thick a butt cape should be as I have no clue how thick at all.

I wish you made these guides for blender

I know I'm not crazy there is a setting that makes it, so you only sculpt the faces, right? like for example if you are sculpting a hoodie but only want to move the inside part. I swear I saw it before but I can't find it. Do you know where it is? Love the video as always keep it up. <3

My cloth brushes dont work as good as yours, only the transpose one seems to do the task, any Idea?

Another area where blender is better. But some of those ZBrush cloth features aren't in blender and seem very cool. It's very interesting to see where the ZBrush developers draw the line between the benefits of implementing a general purpose 3D system, versus the ease-of-use of a constrained, sculpt-oriented feature-set. I know some people do some of their sculpting in ZBrush, and then switch to blender to polish it off and/or make an animation. But the exact workflow for choosing which parts to do in which tool is a very interesting question. My first thought (if I were a ZBrush person) might be to sculpt everything *except* the clothes (and hair) in ZBrush, and then switch to blender for cloth and hair. But if I wasn't planning to do any actual animation, I can see the incentive to stay entirely in ZBrush, in which case those cloth tools would definitely come in handy. I especially like ZBrush support for dragging cloth around and have it still respect collisions with the model. Very impressive stuff! Thanks for the video!

I'm starting to think that zbrush is just a software front-end for black magic fuckery. The UI certainly feels like I'm manipulating arcane symbols.
