Emily - I have always wondered who in Brandon’s world is into horses. His books have enough horse moments - showing that he at least knows someone who knows. 😉 When you identified Blue Sword as a favorite early fantasy novel- I was so happy (the horse focus in that book is excellent- my favorite ‘horse’ fantasy novel). RE: the story of Kathy babysitting while Brandon and Emily went on vacation - that is the definition of a true Aunt! (Did you teach the boys to do it?!?!) My mom does something similar with our dishes when she babysits the dog. It's fun for her! And I stand in the kitchen in a perpetual state of confusion... :)
