Grealish is a casualty for playing for the greatest side in premier league history. None of his replacements (Bowen, Gordon etc) would get in Pep’s team either. Everyone has there opinion on England.
Maddison has been poor since he got the injury against Chelsea.Even spurs fans acknowledge that.
Grealish is a difficult one.
This season he has been average, but he has qualities at international level that help a team.
1.holding the ball up.
2.getting free kicks in the opposition half.
3.slowing the game down if the opposition are on top.
Man city haven't played him as much this season so i can see why he was dropped.
England have an abundance of good attacking players in form.
Shame we haven't a good allround team that can win it.

The best thing Grealish can do this summer is move away from Man City - it has ruined his career and ruined him as a footballer - he needs to move to somewhere like Newcastle or Manure or even Liverpool and have a side built around him a bit... Pep has only ever used him as a link player and not the game changer he is.

What was the point of Grealish going, when despite a terrific performance and directly responsible for creating 2 goals he is sent home. Southgate has a downer on him as he is a bit of a maverick.
