I think this is one of the most underrated drones out there. Once you adjust the settings you'll see that this baby really moves, and the video footage remains rock solid. The automated features and flight plans all work great as well. I just got my first DJI drone and it is far superior to anything I have ever flown, but the Bebop 2 is still one of my favorites. Just so easy to get up in the air and fun to fly.

Nice review. Your observations were fair and spot on. I purchased this drone and experienced a fly-away and crash. Recovered the drone (in several pieces) brought it home and I was able to pull the flight data from the wreckage and sent it to Parrot. I had a return label and RMA form within 24 hours and they replaced the entire FPV package. Great customer service!!!

Bebop2 is fast. Go to settings and turn up rates to max, that sucker hauls ass.
Another good tip is to remap your controller. And set the left and right triggers to do flips or rolls. That way you can hit barrel rolls and flips on the fly with out letting off the throttle.

Great! I still love my Bebop2! If you loose the prop key, you can use another propeller to unlock props. Or remove the screws ...

I bought this after looking at all the options on the market. Have had it for 4 months now and I think the value for money is exceptional. I fly 27mins and land at 20+% so the flight time is pretty good. It is fast in sports mode (around the same speed as the mavic pro or faster if I remember correctly). Camera is ok in good lighting and the digital stabilization is very capable if not perfect. My only issues are: 1) the lack of flexibility with the camera you can adjust white balance and exposure and that's it and 2) I would really have liked to be able to set the return to home height: it is fixed at 20m. But still an excellent investment if you are getting into drones.

Put it in sports sports mode, i have vlocked my at full speed 42 miles an hour, and the time is 28 minutes, but it will do 30 but u have 2 monutes left on your battery Its a fun drone and never fails to come home, also it will fly in 25bmiles per hour winds. Pretty goid and the stabilization still looks good

The "looking at the sky" and the stabilization are accomplished by using a really wide-angle fisheye lens. It continually shifts focus within the FOV to stabilize the image electronically. It also allows the drone to "look up" because all it is doing is shifting focus and "un-distorting" a different part of the FOV from the fish-eye lens.

Keep holding the throttle down on the bebop and when your about a foot off the ground hit the land button while still holding the throttle down. That’s how you land nice and soft.

Dji drones are flying cameras responding to Dji’s orders, even after you paid for them...
Bebop2 (and discos... the fixed wing counterpart) are flying open sourced computers, way more versatile... most people never figured what those robots were able to provide...
I fly mine in vr-fpv with headtracking while flying at 40mph and doing rolls and loops at the same time at ANY range (through 4G cellular connectivity...)... there is NOTHING comparable on the market (except some military surveillance drones, starting at 15000$...).
Dji is making drones... Parrot was making legends...

Hey Dronr.. if no one has mentioned it.. you can use another prop to take on and off a prop.. just turn your additional prop upside down and press into the bolts .. good reason to never throw old props away.

You can use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove propellers, and yes it has a lot of power.

The camera is a fisheye lens. It has a 180 degree field of view. That is how it stabilizes and looks up/down. The camera has absolutely no moving parts.

I watched some of your other videos on the bigger badder drones and the commercial side of the industry...thinking you'd likely never want to try the Parrot Bebop, to be happily surprised to find this video!!! I've been flying mine for a few months now.
Just to point out, the Bebop 2 Power films in 1080P at 30 FPS....I think I heard you mention something about 4K? Just to clarify unless I heard wrong. You're absolutely correct on the price is perfect for what your get. The add on firmware to the flight app are neat (example, Flight Director and Flight Plan) and its features, Follow-me and Return to Home work really well! Definitely happy with my purchase. Cheers.
