Decades ago while working in rural radio, Paul Harvey was a staple feature of programming at the AM station. Don't know how this came up in my feed, but am looking forward to spending more evenings finding out "the rest of the story."

I worked with my grandparents and uncle at his business. The Rest of the Story would be in the radio about 4 PM (87-88).

All work would stop. We placed the phones on hold. We told the customers to listen.

It was a nice bonding moment. ❤

Oh, he had his quirks and biases, but as a broadcaster, no real equal. And radio changed. We all changed. The world around us, changed. Years came and went. So too, "Paul Harvey....good day!"
