Great tips! I like the idea of setting clear goals. Instead of simply 'say something in class' you go a step further to 'say something the first 10 min of class'. This makes the goal more concrete. Very well done!

I love the tip about asking for questions. I also ask "Does that make sense?" If I'm not sure I got it right. Then if it was confusing I've opened the door for them and made it easier to ask me for more clarity so hopefully they won't feel as badly asking me! :)

Great tips! Back when I began my career I could have really used these ideas. In retrospect, I ended up using all these tools to become more effective at impromptu speaking. Would have been easier to have them in advance!
