Disney and Pixar's #InsideOut2 is coming to theaters June 2024 with brand new emotions!

The little voices inside Riley’s head know her inside and out—but next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters. “Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat,” said Mann. “That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds.” A trailer, poster and film stills are now available for what promises to be the feel-good (or feel-everything) film of Summer 2024.

Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, “Inside Out 2” releases only in theaters Summer 2024.

I guess to be fair she's home now and she did come back safely so... back to thinking about the best part of the day. 1:11 okay but this is LEGIT accurate. Usually, when asked a question like that, there is SO MUCH chaos in my brain that I just say, “it was good :D” in order to shut my mom up…works every time!

1:02 I think Anxiety was trying to do something like when Anger, Disgust and Fear didn't have Joy and Sadness nor the core memories. They tried replacing the core memories with other memories. Anxiety is probably trying to get Riley to feel the emotions Anxiety herself bottled up cause she now realizes her mistake.

Also I keep noticing a weird light thing over the core memories area. When we see clips that are the beginning of the movie we see it blue and when Anxiety takes over it's orange, and I think i saw one clip where it was yellow. Idk if it's supposed to represent the emotion in control, the current emotion of Riley, Riley's most frequent emotion, i really don't know

I like how there seem to be a hierarchy of emotions, the main\basic 5 and the derivatives\complex, so it doesn’t bug me that mom and dad didn’t show the new additions in the first movie, it’s kinda like the extra emotions show up only when there’s real nuance like in reality :)

Notice how anxiety's hair gets more twisted and upright as the movie progresses. It seems to show how anxious she is fpr Riley, pretty cool detail. You can definitely notice between this segment 1:01 - 1:05
