Its been almost 7 years. Everytime i rewatch it, i cry. And I've replayed this so many times now. Idk why but everything about this anime seemed so majestic. The slow pace and the music to go with it, maybe. It pierces right through your heart to the very core and makes you embrace his tragic life

Tsubaki deserves Kousie in every way. Both Tsubaki and Kaori were a bit jealous of each other. Tsubaki was jealous that Kousie loves her and Kaori was jealous how Tsubaki knew Kousie the best. But both play very important roles in his life. Tsubaki was always there for him, even when nobody cared. She always took care of him and helped him. Kaori made love life again and be the person who he was born to be. In my opinion, Kaori and Kousie should have been together only if she had lived...but since she only exists in people's hearts now, Tsubaki and Kousie should be together. Tsubaki deserves Kousie because she had strong feelings for Kousie but she still encouraged the relationship between Kousie and Kaori, even if that hurt her. It is an unpopular opinion but that's all fact.

I don’t know if it’s the most important scene in the show but I love the scene where they’re playing twinkle twinkle little start in the cafe. It’s cute but also shows the dynamics between kousei and the other characters (kaori drives him on to pursue piano, the audience watches in amaze, eat at his talent but then concern when he stops playing) also when he stops playing it’s foreshadowing of the many psychological breakdowns that he has throughout the show but instead in this scene he stops playing entirely and doesn’t start over or continue playing just gives up, showing that he will easily give up when things get difficult. He later overcomes this, but the scene perfectly shows the relationship of the characters and gives a glimpse at how bad kousei’s trauma really is

Actually I hated tsubaki for telling him ... cuz she knew he was in love with kaori and also because the reason kaori wouldnt tell kousei in person is because of her and it broke my heart that she never got to tell him in person
