Thallulah, William Medagli, Valerio Zanella - Straya feat. Jose Maria Ramon

After two killer remixes for East Recordings Thallulah, William Medagli and Jose Maria Ramon make their full debut on the label with the truly stunning 4-tracker ‘Arka’ EP. This Italian threesome having been making huge waves with their idiosyncratic style that is best described as cinematic techno: big analogue, Vangelis-inspired melodic synth lines married with tough, syncopated techno rhythms.

With releases on respected labels like Einmusik, Separat and Natural Rhythm to name but a few Thallulah, William Medagli and Jose Maria had a big 2015. Their remix of Pablo del Monte’s ‘Glide Over Here’ on East Recordings drew support from across the board from underground DJs right through to Paul Van Dyk - a testament to the range of their appeal.

‘Arka’ is in a similar vein ranging from the achingly-beautiful melodies of the lead track, through the tough techno beats of ‘Tesla’ and the almost progressive (in the best sense of the word) vibe of ‘Straya’, which sees the trio pair up with Valerio Zanella. And to round off a nicely balanced EP East Recordings label boss Pablo del Monte’s remix of ‘Arka’ takes things mainroom house in direction.

With another EP in the pipeline for Thallulah et. al we are expecting big things for this crew in 2016.
